Join us on February 4, 2012 to celebrate the Tenth Annual Event for the Rwanda Prayer Banquet (RPB) in Washington, D.C./Silver Spring, Maryland.
The RPB has become the premier gathering of high level Christian and Rwanda leaders in the United States, with a focus on celebrating Rwanda and sharing its values, while advancing Christian support for Rwanda. The RPB is a yearly event held on the first Saturday of February each year. The RPB is a replica of the United States National Prayer Breakfast—hosted by members of the United States Congress, each year in Washington, D.C.
The RPB is celebrating its 10th Annual Event in 2012. The main focus of the event is to prepare the next generation of Christian leaders to stand for Rwanda on their Campuses and in life. The RPB will launch the “Rwanda Scholarship Experience Program,” which focus primarily on Rwanda students. Take the best and brightest Rwandan student (s) from campuses across the United States to Rwanda for a study tour to ensure and cultivate a pro-Rwanda support throughout the next generation and to have tomorrow’s leaders develop an educated heart for Rwanda. The program will also allow young people born in the United States to experience the reality of the current situation in the Republic of Rwanda.
A One-Day Leadership Retreat and Workshops. Prior to the Gala Event, a one-day full session retreat will be held on Friday, February 3, 2012. Many of the most recognized and respected experts on current event, leadership, businesses and the political process will lead each session. RPB students are of extremely high caliber to foster collaborative, participatory learning and to maximize interaction among students and presenters. Students who will be selected to participate in the program pay a modest fee and agree to full participation in the program.
Any sponsorship of the banquet, tribute in the banquet Newsletter, or donation of any size will make a great difference in shaping the lives and worldviews of young leaders. The event is regarded by the RPB as merely a tool to reach out the powerful attendees. It is designed to be a forum for economical, political, social, and business leaders of the world to assemble together and build relationships.

Special thanks to all of you who have contributed to make this event a success a success. I hope that in the coming days many more of you will step up to volunteer for this important task. |
